### When is an energy declaration required?

An energy declaration is required, among other situations, when a building is sold, when premises or homes are let, in new construction, and in certain public buildings that must display their energy class clearly. We help you determine what applies to your property.

### How long is an energy declaration valid?

An energy declaration is normally valid for 10 years. A new one may be needed sooner if the building is renovated in a way that affects its energy use.

### What does an energy declaration include?

Information about the heating system, energy use, insulation and windows, an energy class (A to G) and proposed measures that can improve efficiency.

### How does an energy declaration work?

### Is the energy declaration connected to OVK?
